Our charitable trust is dedicated to creating inspirational retirement villages that empower healthy, active, and independent later living. We believe that health, age or financial means should be no barrier to an enhanced quality of life.
Villages
At our retirement villages, we prioritise supported independence with residents enjoying social and leisure opportunities. If care is needed residents have the option of receiving support in the privacy of their own home.
Our village homes are built and equipped to the highest standards and are protected with safety features such as closed-circuit security cameras and emergency pull cords in every room. Additionally, residents have access to a superb variety of facilities, including libraries, IT facilities, bistros, bars, gyms, beauty salons, and more.
Retirement schemes
ExtraCare schemes are ‘communities within communities’ where everyone is encouraged to do as much or as little as they want to. Our schemes offer residents a real home of their own with their own front door, and have a variety of facilities on site for residents to take advantage of.
ExtraCare take pride in our caring and supportive team who are on hand to assist at every stage of the journey to keep things stress free. From practical queries about residents’ moves to more complex subjects, such as individual care requirements, we are there to guide and help.

We are a Charitable Trust.
Our surpluses are reinvested to improve our residents’ lives. We have no shareholders and are governed by our unpaid Board of Trustees.
